Everything seems to be in tune with The Dark Knight. Solid performances, incredible action scenes and a Ghotam City with real city airs. Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) fights for the rise of a figure who comes to fight Ghotam's criminals legally, unlike Batman, who does use justice on his own. That is to say, the appearance of an inspiring element, personified by the promoter Harvey Dent, the "knight of the light" of Ghotam, masterfully interpreted by Aaron Eckhart, is necessary. However, the emergence of an unusual, unpredictable, and extremely clever delinquent is a challenge for both Batman and Dent. The Heath Ledger does not want power nor seeks financial return in perversity; as he calls himself, an agent of chaos.
Considered one of the greatest films of heroes of all time, and with some critics considering it one of the biggest films ever made in general. The Dark Knight was critically acclaimed and praised for his script, directing, acting, cinematography, musical score and action sequences.
The film received eight nominations for the Oscars, winning in two categories: Best Supporting Actor (a posthumous award for Heath Ledger) and Best Sound Editing (Richard King).
