Bloemfontein Celtic defeated Supersport United 1-0 in the second leg of the MTN8 semifinal on Saturday afternoon. Siwelele ultimately secured a 2-1 victory on aggregate and moved on to their second Final in a few months.

Matsatsantsa played with heavy intent and high tempo as they realized that they were chasing the game. Jamie Webber could have opened the scoring within the very first minute of the game as he found an opening, however, his shot went over the bar. The visiting team tried as they could to score but they could not.

Celtic found an easy opening when they took a quick free kick and Letsoalo capitalized on Khumalo and Nhlapho lapse in defence. That goal was the main chance for the home team as they secured themselves a second Final in a short period of time.

iDiskiTV analyst Tso Vilakazi says credit must be given to John Maduka for guiding his team to a second cup final in succession.
