Makoko is an informal settlement across the 3rd Mainland Bridge located on the coast of mainland Lagos(economic center of Nigeria). A third of the community is built on stilts along the lagoon and the rest is on the land part of the community is largely harboured by the Egun people who migrated from Badagary, Togo and Republic of Benin whose main occupation is fishing

Makoko is one of the poor neighborhoods in Nigeria with little or no infrastructural development you can imagine how kids go to school how the sick get cured in the hospital
you can imagine how they do the ordinary things people do in the streets of Nigeria
