Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong delivered his Budget 2024 speech in parliament on Friday (Feb 16). He announced new measures to help Singaporeans with the rising cost of living, including an additional S$600 in CDC vouchers for all Singaporean households and a 50% rebate in personal income tax, capped at S$200. There was significant suppport announced for businesses as well.
