After both sides edged thrillers in the Rugby World Cup 2023 quarter-finals, both South Africa and England met in the semi-final at the Stade de France in Paris. The Springboks were heavy favourites in what was a repeat of the Rugby World Cup final from 2019 but England and Owen Farrell came out the blocks firing. However, South Africa slowly fought back and eventually Handré Pollard stole the game by a single point at the end of the match!
