The "creamos nuestro proyecto" programme allows children to develop their entrepreneurial skills. After market research, the children come up with a business idea that is then actually launched and put into practice. Besides gaining business skills, the children also improve their empathy, creativity and self-awareness. As Lucía Halty, a psychologist confirms:
"In the four areas of creativity, persistence in the task, overcoming the fear of failure and initiative and leadership, differences were found before the implementation of the program.[...] they have improved by up to 65%, depending on the area.” Competition can help spur change and inspire creative ideas but could this be applied to developing business skills?
