Zen Mind Beginner's Mind. This is a live Sumi-E Japanese ink painting of Enso the Sacred Circle and BodhiDharma, the first Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, Chan in chinese. Zen meaning meditation in Japanese is not only a religion but a Way of life. Bodhidharma brought the Mahayana teachings to China from India around the 5th or 6th century. This lineage is directly from the original Buddha in this timeline Shakyamuni.

The beginner's mind is like the meditative mind open and clear. without expectation and consistently open and expansive. the expert mind may be closed down and in conflict always wanted to debate and defend. There is a Zen saying "only don't know" for the moment we think we grasp something or a concept it changes. Ultimately what do we really know for the Truth is beyond all words and concepts, and living in a Paradox where right is wrong and wrong is right and both are neither. That is why we let it all go and just be Present in the Now living from our Pure Awareness of Buddha Consciousness. Namaste 🙏
