Friends, I’m presenting you another live recording from a concert in Europe. Right now the Navaratri festival is on all over India. The festival celebrates the female Divine in its different aspects. Its fierce forms as Durga and Kali Maa, the prosperity and power bringing Lakshmi Maa and the wisdom and knowledge showering Saraswati Maa.

In Kolkata, like in whole West Bengal and its neighboring states it’s the time of Durga Puja. Countless versions of Durga Maa and her divine consorts being created and displayed in every neighborhood. It’s a celebration of life, art and creativity all over the town. Of course not without music and dance to the Dhak drum.
