On January 10th in 2016, substitute Harry Kane converted his 50th Tottenham goal a controversial penalty call to give Spurs a 2-2 draw with Leicester City in the FA Cup and force a replay. Spurs would win the replay 2-0 and end up finishing in the fifth round of that year’s FA Cup and Kane would become a star at Tottenham. On the ESPN FC discussion that day, the crew get into a heated discussion over whether Spurs deserved the penalty and if the handball rules need to be revised. Steve Nicol, Ale Moreno and Gab Marcotti think the penalty call was correct while Shaka Hislop believes Leicester’s Nathan Dyer did not intentionally create the handball.
