Sam Carter, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He earned his bachelor’s degree and medical degree from the University of Louisville. In 2008, Dr. Carter completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Louisville. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Orthopedic Research of Virginia, in Richmond. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and holds subspecialty certification in sports medicine.
