The main difference between the two treadmills is the display consoles.
The Bowflex BXT216 which is a popular mid-range home treadmill has a multi-colored LCD display.
The 1750, one of NordicTrack’s preferred mid-range models, is ideal for home gyms. It comes with a full-color HD touchscreen. You can swipe to make setting changes which makes it more intuitive to use during workouts.
The NordicTrack treadmill outshines the Bowflex because of its intuitive, full-color, HD touchscreen.

Incline, decline and controls
Both treadmills let you adjust incline levels to a maximum of 15%. The NordicTrack however, also includes decline adjustment up to 3% decline. Additional decline settings add to variety for better cross training.
Both treadmills have their main controls on the console. The Bowflex treadmill adds some control convenience by including buttons on the handlebars, which can be used to adjust speed and incline levels.
The NordicTrack treadmill is better for cross training as it gives a range of both uphill and downhill simulation.

iFit Coach Subscription
iFit Coach is an online service which gives you access to a staggering number of workout options. From live classes with professional trainers to virtual runs in different parts of the world. You can get new workouts every day so you never have to deal with the monotony of the same workout over and over again.

If virtual runs are your cup of tea, you can opt for anything from runs through the streets of Paris to jogs along Hawaii’s scenic shores. It includes workouts for novices, advanced users and everyone in between.

This is generally a paid service requiring payment of monthly subscriptions but when you buy the NordicTrack treadmill, it comes with a 1-year free subscription.
The Bowflex also has a training program but it is not as advances as iFit.
The NordicTrack is better for interactive training. A year of free iFit subscription at no extra cost is a definite advantage over the Bowflex unit.
