3 Ways To Remove Vocals from a Song - Phasing, Spleeter & Lalal.ai |
|
Here are 3 ways to remove (and split) vocals from a song. The first way is to simply use invert your left or right audio channel, and phase out the vocals. You might want to do some EQ-ing to get a better result.
Otherwise, use the power of the neural network and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to split music tracks into stems. In this video, I share about Spleeter and Lalal.ai. Lalal.ai has a free pack (for 3 songs or up to 10 minutes of audio). Go try it here: https://www.audiomentor.com/software/lalalAI Spleeter (Github). Launched as a command-line tool in a Python environment: https://github.com/deezer/spleeter After posting this video, I realized that I should have additionally taken a look at the frequencies of the audio files – to compare LALAl.ai and Spleeter. Will do this on the blog: https://www.audiomentor.com Subscribe to get notified on more home recording and music production videos: https://www.audiomentor.com/youtube Interested to listen to music in this video?
