Hans van Dam delivers the world's first TED Talk written by ChatGPT, a large language model created by OpenAI. He explores how people and language relate to each other, and what happens to humanity when it outsources language to artificial intelligence. Hans proposes that for humanity to flourish, it's important that people with soft skills are trained in prompt engineering and conversation design, so that we elevate humanity rather than destroy it.
