Target Audience
This activity is targeted towards pediatricians, IM/P, and family practitioners. Statement of Need Our learners need the knowledge and strategies to assist in recognizing, evaluating and treating common and not so common problems presenting in a primary care setting, including when it is appropriate to refer. Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: • Describe common symptoms pediatricians are seeing in kids – Pre-COVID vs. now. • Identify what a normal stress reaction is versus red flags that require further evaluation. • Discuss patient and family management strategies for COVID-related stress in kids.
