UPDATE - This has been patched as of May 2nd 2019 in Update 1.04. I guess it was fun while it lasted :/

With this method you don't need to farm, you only need 20 minutes of your time really.

Method:

1) Load the Krypt. But when you press X to choose the Krypt, don't let go of the button, and keep holding it.

2) Once loaded in, don't let go of the X button. Now walk towards a locked head in the Warrior Shrine.

3) If done right, when you approach a locked head, that shrine will get unlocked.

Pretty Simple. I simply don't understand how this works, but I suggest doing this before Netherrealm patches it!

This unlocks all the contents in those boxes along with every room in the Shang Tsung's Throne room!
