The Mavericks have signed two players in 2023 NBA free agency to training camp deals. Joe Wieskamp who played with the Toronto Raptors last season joins the Mavs, as does former Texas Longhorn and Portland Trail Blazer Greg Brown III. Wieskamp and Brown along with Dexter Dennis will compete for a roster spot with the Dallas Mavericks, who have one two-way contract available after McKinley Wright left the Mavs for Europe. The Christian Wood rumors continue to circulate as the Los Angeles Lakers are the team with the most interest in Wood so far, but no deal has been reached as Wood is looking for something more than a minimum contract in NBA free agency. While Wood probably won’t’ be returning to the Mavericks, where will his next home be?
