A 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan and Afghanistan on March 21, 2023, killing at least 13 people. The quake sent shoppers at a mall in the Pakistani capital fleeing the building. Tremors were also felt in parts of India, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
