New Delhi: At a Parliamentary panel meet on Saturday, Rahul Gandhi elaborately spoke about his speech in London amid the BJP's allegation that he insulted India abroad by questioning the state of democracy. The Wayanad MP said that he only raised questions about India's democracy, and could not be labelled "anti-national" for that, according to sources.
At a Parliamentary Consultative Committee chaired by the External Affairs Ministry, Mr Gandhi also added that he did not ask any other country to intervene.
According to sources, the former Congress chief told the leaders present that he believes this is an internal matter and it will be resolved.
