How To Turn ON End-to-End Encryption In Google Messages (Android) |
|
You can enable end-to-end encryption in Google Messages on your Android phone. Google Messages has to be your default messaging application for this to work.
End-to-end encryption enables you to secure your messages from third-party access when it is being transferred from one endpoint to another. You may want to enable this by activating Google Messages chat features which require you to use mobile data or Wi-Fi to send and receive messages. The person you are chatting will need to do the same, for end-to-end encryption to work.
