Rail commuters around the country are starting to benefit from efforts by the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa to restore services.
It has restarted some Metrorail suburban rail services in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape.Vandalism and cable theft during and after the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, had stripped the country's local rail networks bare.
