Thinking, Fast and Slow (2011), a recapitulation of the decades of research that led to his Nobel Prize, highlights Daniel Kahneman's contributions to our present understanding of psychology and behavioral economics. Kahneman and his colleagues, whose work is extensively discussed in the book, have made major contributions to a new understanding of the human mind throughout the years. We now have a greater grasp of how decisions are made, why some judgment errors are so widespread, and how we might improve our own performance.

In 2002, Daniel Kahneman, PhD, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics. He is a Senior Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, an Emeritus Professor of Psychology and Public Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School, an Emeritus Eugene Higgins Professor of Psychology at Princeton University, and a fellow at the Center for Rationality at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
