The arts are going through an incredibly difficult time right now (and for the foreseeable future) as we navigate this pandemic. The commercial theatres of Broadway have just announced that they will remain closed until at least September, but it's the local, non-profit theatres throughout the U.S. that are seriously in danger. Traditionally theatres would just hold a benefit to raise money, and this video is from a fully staged concert version of EVITA that I did with several friends of mine at Civic Theatre of Allentown (http://www.civictheatre.com) a few years back. The theatre is currently running a #IAMCIVICTHEATRE campaign to assist in supporting the staff and general operating expenses while the theatre is forced to remain dark. In lieu of a live, in-person benefit, I am posting this video in hopes that you might consider donating anything you can to the theatre on their website (linked above) after you view the song.
