Webinar launch: Towards inclusive design of WASH infrastructure in informal settlements

video thumbnail
The number of people without access to safely managed drinking water services in urban areas is growing. More work is needed to improve infrastructure in cities - taking into account the challenges of working in densely populated areas with diverse populations.

On 24 June 2022, RISE held a global launch of a toolkit and policy brief on how to use participatory design to make water and sanitation infrastructure more inclusive and fairer.

Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector practitioners, decision-makers and funders from around the world joined to see the evidence-based resources that will help deliver more inclusive and fairer water and sanitation projects and services to the millions of people who need it the most in informal settlements.
