Andra Day is, in every sense, a natural-born star. As alluring to the eye as she is to the ear, Andra has been gifted with a voice that is equally powerful and expressive. The San Diego native attended a performing-arts high school, wisely choosing to major in singing rather than ballet. Her ability to articulate universal emotions with honesty and compassion eventually landed her demo into the hands of Stevie Wonder, who was blown away and soon introduced her to producer/musician Adrian Gurvitz. This meeting led her to a deal with Warner Bros. Records in 2013.
