On Tuesday 12th February 2013 the entire Wollongong NRE Hawks team visited Edmund Rice College to spread the anti-bullying message to the students. The Hawks "Blitz on Bullying" pilot program is all about the Hawks and students working together raising awareness about the devastating effects that Bullying can have across the school and wider community, most importantly working together to put a stop to it in and out of the school yard.

The "Blitz on Bullying" program has solely been designed by the Wollongong NRE Hawks to be implemented across schools in the Illawarra, the Hawks have piloted the program at three schools in the region so far, with positive feedback from teachers, principals, students and their parents.
