Hrithik Roshan's fake email id case accelerated, police approach US court

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan had earlier filed an FIR alleging that someone was impersonating him and interacting with his female fan through the email id - hroshan@email.com. The actor claimed the e-mail id in question is not his. A case has been registered under the Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code. According to a report on Koimoi.com, the Mumbai police is sending a Letter Rogatory to a US-based court. The LR is issued by the Indian court to the US court seeking details of the fake email ID and where the emails originated from.

1. Hrithik Roshan had earlier filed an FIR alleging that someone was impersonating him and interacting with his female fan.
2. He then named Kangana in the FIR filed against the impersonator.
3. A case has been registered under the Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code.
4. Police are sending a Letter Rogatory to a US-based court seeking details of the fake email ID.
