Found-materials artist and woodworker, Michael Biddison, tells how he became interested first in art, then in everything, and how it all became intertwined. Michael has set up his studio in the fertile green region of Chester County, one hour from center city Philadelphia. He came to making functional art objects by way of a winding but enchanted path, through visual art, musical performance, restoration carpentry, and antique furniture repair. His goal is to invent objects that are original and personal yet relevant to everyday use and appreciation.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
