Archlinux loading via "shim" (taken from Ubuntu ["The Vivid Vervet"]) in UEFI Secure Boot mode.
Instruction: 1. file "EFI/arch/shim.efi" -- take from Ubuntu package with name "shim-signed" (original file "shim.efi.signed" renaming to "shim.efi") 2. file "EFI/arch/MokManager.efi" -- take from Ubuntu package with name "shim" (original file "MokManager.efi.signed" renaming to "MokManager.efi") *** NOTE! you need use utility "mokutil" if you want to get additional features of "shim" .. and see https://github.com/polymorphm/uefi-shim-reset *** About "shim" ======== "shim" primarily written by Matthew Garrett (formerly Red Hat, currently Nebula) and Peter Jones ('vathpela' on github, Red Hat) with contributions from a couple of SUSE folks. https://github.com/rhinstaller/shim |
