Passionate about technology and women's empowerment, Masuma is a firm believer of the opportunity to empower women through technology, despite the field being heavily influenced by men. As a cybersecurity student, she shares in this talk about how the accessibility of technology has changed the way we interact, learn, communicate, and live, as well as how gender shapes both our experiences and decisions. Going into a technological field, Masuma has an interest in the importance of learning basic computer skills and empowering young women to find their interests. She also has an interest in art and public speaking, having given a few talks at her high school. Having noticed the way technology can change people’s outlook, Masuma wishes to show how technology can empower women and has positively affected her life too.
