WING CHUN TECHNIQUES: PAK SAU FUNDAMENTALS |
|
In this Wing Chun tutorial Neil Parris shows a much used technique, the paak sau. Here, we focus on 3 different ways the paak sau can be used in different circumstances. This Ving Tsun technique is simple to learn, but the fundamentals must be adhered to for it to be functional. Paak sau meaning slapping hand, is very similar to a parry used in other martial art systems and can be used as an initial point of contact in a self defence technique context when faced with punches.
This Wing Chun lesson shows the basics of this technique to demonstrate how your intention and requirements change the technique, even though the pak sau remains the same.
