The film features B-town alleged love birds Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt along with Fawad Khan in lead roles. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor will also be seen in the film. Kapoor and sons will be a modern family film with a love triangle embedded in it. It revolves around two brothers played by Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. Regarding the story, Sidharth said that "It is basically about how today's modern, but slightly dysfunctional families solve their issues. There is comedy, drama and romance as well. Alia plays a girl-next-door, someone who's not from our family". Actors/Star cast The movie will have the most loved onscreen pair Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and also the Khubsoorat fame Fawad Khan in the lead roles. The modern family drama will also star Rishi Kapoor as grandfather of the male leads. Malhotra will be playing the role of a writer in this film. Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra will play brothers in the movie. Fawad said, "Sidharth and I are brothers competing with one another as authors or writers".
