Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister:

"I think our stance was expressed by the president (Vladimir Putin) a few weeks ago at another event. Addressing participants of the meeting, he said we are not against negotiations, when speaking of the Ukrainian situation, (he said) we do not refuse negotiations with Ukraine, but the longer it takes, the more difficult it is going to be to agree on anything."
