Bhaba Pagla (1902-1984)
Birth place Amtagram, at present Manikgonj, Dhaka. But he spent his major part of life in Kalna, West Bengal, established Matrimandir. He was a versatile artist. He has profound devotion for Kali. His music has an amazing blending between Shakti Sadhana and Moromia Sufi. The piece is a devotional one and to some extent blended with Dehatatwa. Bhaba's numbers are neither Baul nor Folk, Yet Bauls widely sing them all across Bengal.
