In the past few videos I've noticed my mixes getting a bit dull, it's partly just due to the themes that I was doing, but going back to the cartoon themes shows me the difference between them and that they were lacking the brightness that some of the older songs had. It's difficult to try and make all of the songs sound alike because of how different the genres are and I'm always comparing to the original songs, so I can't make a film score too bright, or can't make a TV theme dark and heavy.
