Quick 5 Minute Meditation for IBS - No Music |
|
Welcome to this meditation to help soothe IBS discomfort.
Get yourself into a position most comfortable for you at this time. Once you’ve found a position right for you Allow your eyes to close. Take a slow breath in, Hold it for a moment. And gently release that breath. Repeating this a few times. Notice that what you breathe in, Your belly rises. And when you breathe out, Your belly relaxes. With every exhale… Allowing all the tension in your body to fall away. The muscles in your face, loosening. Your stomach muscles, relaxing. Your shoulders, melting away from your ears. With every in-breath, welcome in calm, ease, balance. Now allow your breath to fall into it’s natural rhythm. Take your hand and place it on your belly. Use your hand to send a message of love to your belly. Calming and comforting it. Taking a moment to appreciate all it does for you. Use it to tell your belly it’s safe, and that nothing is going to hurt it. With every exhale Let your hand soothe and calm your stomach further. It’s safe to relax your tummy muscles. Nothing is going to hurt you. It’s safe to relax your tummy muscles. Nothing is going to hurt you. It’s safe to relax your tummy muscles. With every exhale, Allow your muscles to relax even more. It’s safe to do so. Let the relaxation spread all through your body. With every exhale… Allowing all the tension in your body to fall away. The muscles in your face, Jaw Brow Tongue. Loosening. Unfurling It's safe to relax. Nothing is going to hurt you. Every exhale relaxing you more and more. Deeper and deeper. Feel free to stay here in this practice for as long as you need. It's safe to relax. Nothing is going to hurt you. It's safe to relax. Nothing is going to hurt you. |
