Malaysia is bracing for more floods, with continuous downpours forecast in Pahang and Johor. At the same time, repair works on already damaged infrastructure could cost the government almost US$240 million. Dr Renard Siew, Climate Change Advisor at the Centre for Governance and Political Studies, shared his views on the urgent infrastructure issues facing the Malaysian government as it deals with the floods.
