WHAT IS QUAD?
Our new PM Anthony Albanese has spent his first full day in office not in his office. He's in Japan to meet with world leaders for the Quad Summit. Yep, it was only a couple of hours from this moment, to this moment, when Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his new foreign minister Penny Wong jetted off to Tokyo for their first meeting with the Quad! The Quad, or Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, if we want to get wordy, is a group of four countries: the US, India, Japan and of course Australia which first met in 2007 with the goal of keeping this region known as the Indo-Pacific, safe. This year world leaders will chat about things like climate change solutions, COVID vaccines plans, and their relationship with other countries like China. While he's there, The PM will meet with all the leaders individually too, to, well, introduce himself and to fine tune how our countries will work together in the future.

FRENCH OPEN
There's been a big upset at the French Open. Aussie Ajla Tomljanovic smashed the world number 5 Anett Kontaveit in straight sets. Moving our top ranked Aussie into the second round.

24 HOUR MUSICAL
Musicals usually take weeks if not months to prepare for, but not if you're The Parks Youth Theatre group in Adelaide. They put together a show in less than 24 hours! And we went behind the scenes to see how it all happened.

CRAZY CARS
Here in Peru, the "Crazy Cars" festival is getting underway. Cars are encouraged to use recycled materials, like plastic bottles and cardboard. And all of them are either pedal powered or have to be pushed. There were more than 20 carts all up and contestants of all ages joined in on the fun.

GPS COWS
These cows have been given a lot of trust. They could simply jump this fence and be on their way to almost anywhere. Except you might have noticed they're all wearing these. They're GPS collars! This farm in the UK has been testing them out, by using a connected app which lets them set boundaries for where the cows are allowed to be. Go beyond the boundary, and the device starts to beep, letting the cow know it needs to turn back, and the hope is that one day physical fences can be a thing of the past

QUEEN VISITS GARDEN
Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II en route to the Chelsea flower show. To celebrate her platinum jubilee, that is, 70 years on the throne!, she was driven around and shown the sights. A bunch of purple flowers. A bunch of pink flowers. And a vertical pot plant assortment. What a show!
