19,550 Dominoes - Brattleboro Museum 5

video thumbnail
For the fifth year in a row, I made the trip north to the Brattleboro Musuem & Art Center to set up a domino display. However, unlike the previous four years, I was not accompanied by my brother Steve. He experienced some serious back pain after our show at the Penn Museum five months earlier, so he stayed home. Now that this event is over, we can announce that I am also taking an extended break from the road and focusing on smaller domino videos in our own homes. What can I say, we're not as young as we used to be.

That brings me to Shane (of ShanesDominoez). He's obviously a wizard with dominoes and half my age. I'd be happy to "pass the torch" (which is more like a match at this point) to him. I'm not sure if we'll see Shane and another domino toppler at the BMAC in 2013, but I know you won't see me.

Anyway, onto the course. Everything that falls up to Pikachu was set up by Shane, and everything after that by me. The giant K'NEX structures got me thinking about doing how-to videos on building some of the stunts I've used (like the Smiley Drop) and a few non-domino related things (like a prize wheel). Would anyone be interested in seeing something like that? Have you ever seen K'NEX sold where you live?

So, what is Lesser Known Savages? It's a sketch comedy troupe featuring Steve and a few of his friends. Check them out:
