Service is sexy. Compassion is not. Yet, in our service oriented world, what is the sustainable impact? Are we making a difference, and if not, why not? Explore how and why compassion should serve as the center of our service ethos. Passionate about future-ready schools, Tara believes compassion elevates innovation. She advocates for schools as centers of creativity, joy, and human flourishing. Tara began her teaching career in Phoenix, Arizona before moving into international education, Teaching in Taiwan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Switzerland. She holds an MA in Educational Leadership, an MFA in Poetry, and a graduate certificate in educational technology. She currently serves as Middle School Principal at International School Basel and is pursuing her PhD in education for social justice.
