Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated in Leipzig and the allies invaded France in 1814. Afterwards, he was exiled on Elba. However, in 1815 Napoleon returned to France for 100 days. He became Emperor of the French again. Eventually the British and Prussian armies won the Battle of Waterloo and Napoleon finally abdicated. He was sent to St. Helena in the South Atlantic where he died a few years later.
