So many great discussions and comments, and we received enough opposing information to do a follow up video and address some of the primary concerns. The Karate Kid and the new YouTube Premium Show, Cobra Kai, ignited a massive interest in the martial arts and became a major American pop culture phenomenon.

In this video, as with the first, we try to break down the elements of the arts in the films/shows and determine just what arts do Miyagi/Daniel train in, and the art taught at the Cobra Kai Dojo.
