Former adult star Stormy Daniels says “gay men, trans people and women” became her fanbase and supported her after she went public with her Donald Trump scandal.

“It was completely shocking at first," Ms Daniels said.

"I was pretty established I had my fanbase, I was well known in the adult industry … I had really solidified my place in where I wanted to be there.

”There was like this instant explosion … my fanbase switched the people who had been my followers, my fans for the longest time were a completely separate demographic than the ones that I was totally being swarmed with.

“Used to be I go on stage and most of the people would be white guys in suits – and then suddenly overnight I walked out on stage and all of those guys were gone and it was gay men, trans people and women, a lot of women.”
