I'm 31, and I was raised by gay parents: my mom and my stepmom. I'm sick of ads that oppose gay marriage based on "protecting" kids from winding up with families like mine. I think I turned out just fine. The only real obstacle to happiness for the children of gay parents is homophobia, and it needs to stop.
As the marriage equality debate rages around the world, it’s become clear that there is a voice missing from the discussion: the voice of the kids.

We address the hot-button issue of gay parenting — but with one significant difference. It is told from the perspective of the children. This short film follows children born to gay and lesbian parents to explore the effect growing up “gayby” has had on them.

A new study tries to show that the kids of gay and lesbian parents are worse off than the kids of straight parents. We'll take a look at all of the problems with that study, and there's a lot of them.
