FREE TOUR THROUGH THE SLUMS one of the biggest urban slum in Africa just 6 km from the centre of Nairobi.

Founded in 1899 kibera appeared as the settlement allocated to the Nubian soldiers serving the military interests of the British Colonial army.
Today it is home for more than 150,000 people, most of the tenants have no rights to their homes or land...

I´m sure that there is much more to see and experience in Kibera, than I could in a 3 hours walk through. Kibera is one of the biggest urban slums in africa and it is a hotspot for poverty and crime. There are a lot of stories and rumors about it, some might be very true, others less...

I for me found out, that I experienced people who welcomed us, not just in the streets and alleys but also in their homes.
People were greeting us and seemed relatively happy over there, it's a place of extremes where you feel hope and hoplessness at the same time.
