Hydrogen is emerging as a fast growing clean fuel source, which gives rise to new hydrogen technologies. This talk reviews the random nature of the history of hydrogen and focuses on the next steps of how we can scale up a hydrogen economy to meet global decarbonisation, air quality and energy security objectives. A UK Mission Innovation Hydrogen Champion, Michaela is the CEO and the co-founder of fuel cell pioneers Adelan, one of the world’s first fuel cell businesses. A leading environmental scientist, she plays a key role in building the UK’s national fuel cell strategy and collaborating with the international scientific community working in the Hydrogen Economy.
