• Awareness can be functioning, but we can be unconscious of awareness.

• Consciousness is fluid. It can take the form of happiness or being clear or sad. It’s an amazing force within us. Awareness is different in the sense that it’s not static, but it’s not fluid in any way. It’s transcendent of all those qualities.

• Ultimately, everything is one. Everything is derived from the same source. They’re different facets of one thing. It literally is one, but one doesn’t mean the same. The perception of complete unity is that everything is one thing. However, there’s also the noticing of uniqueness, individuality, things that seem to suggest separation, but in reality, they don’t. They’re held within a greater truth.

• Consciousness is always changing perspectives, and it’s the state from which we’re perceiving. Your consciousness can go into an expanded state, but what it’s expanding into is awareness.

• Awareness is not big or small. It’s just awareness. Two trees can be different sizes, but they’re both still trees. As we make these distinctions, we need to remember not to see the distinctions as separation.
