In my review of the GeoSmile app I found that its premise of earning rewards for walking is heavily overshadowed by its reliance on advertisements. Users earn "miles" for walking, but the real push is towards watching ads to significantly boost these earnings and features like scratch-offs, distance-based rewards, and a slot machine game all serve to encourage more ad viewership, rather than rewarding physical activity substantially... you'll see more on the video itself!
