The Snipping Tool is a screen capture utility that is included with the Microsoft Windows operating system. It now allows you record any area on your screen as a video, and then save it as needed. To use the Snipping Tool to record your screen: Open the Snipping Tool by searching for it in the Start menu or by typing "snipping tool" into the search bar. Click on the "New" button to start a new screen capture. Use the crosshairs to select the area of the screen that you want to capture. You can also choose from one of the other snipping modes, such as a window or a full-screen capture. Once you have selected the area of the screen that you want to capture, the Snipping Tool will open a new window with the screenshot. To record your screen, click on the "Record" button in the toolbar. This will start the screen recording and open a new window with a timer that shows how long the recording has been going on for. To stop the recording, click on the "Stop" button in the toolbar. The Snipping Tool will then save the recorded video to your computer and open it in the default video player. Keep in mind that the Snipping Tool is not designed to be a full-featured screen recording tool. If you need more advanced features, such as the ability to record audio or to edit the recorded video, you may want to consider using a dedicated screen recording software. |
