See Time Tags below to skip to specific sections of the webinar. This is Part 1 of a two-part webinar series that presents case studies on the use of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) and TPH carbon range data to assess the risk posed by releases of petroleum to soil, sediment, ambient air, soil vapor, surface water and groundwater to guide site characterization, remediation and long-term management actions. Part one reviews the basics of risk assessment and environmental screening levels with respect to TPH and introduces the first case study. The webinars are based on the HIDOH document Collection and Use of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon Data for the Risk-Based Evaluation of Petroleum Releases - Example Case Studies: Hawaii Department of Health, Hazard Evaluation and Emergency Response Office, August 2018 (http://eha-web.doh.hawaii.gov/eha-cma/Leaders/HEER/environmental-hazard-evaluation-and-environmental-action-levels).
