Charlie is the main protagonist of hazbin hotel, but what is her lore?

Charlie is the only hellborn character in the main cast and she’s the princess of hell. She’s in a relationship with her girlfriend vaggie and wants to open the hazbin hotel to rehabilitate sinners.

During the pilot we see various paintings on the walls that showcase charlie’s childhood. There was also meant to be a third prequel hazbin comic that would be about charlie and show her time in highschool where she met vaggie. This was scrapped, but we see a flashback of a young charlie with her mother lilith in one of the trailers so we’ll likely learn her backstory in the full show.

In the recent hazbin trading cards we saw a card called charlie’s pitchfork. Fans were confused when they saw this card, but it’s actually something we’ve seen in old drawings of charlie. We’ll likely see charlie wield her weapon and crown when defending hell from the exterminators.
